Hello! My name is Leslie Clarke. I’m a married, autistic, demiboy and the author of this blog— thank you for visiting! I go by “he/they”-pronouns.

I was born in Seoul, Southkorea on August 25, 2000, and was adopted a few months after birth by a couple living in Skellefteå, Sweden. I was placed in fostercare elsewhere in the municipality at 14 and would remain there until I moved back into Skellefteå at 21. At 23 I moved to Belfast, UK to live with my then-boyfriend; we married in January, 2024.

For various reasons, we had to relocate and are currently living in Caleta de Fuste, Spain, on the Canaryislands. It’s our longterm goal to eventually move back to the UK and live our lives there, however.

I attended secondary education at the Anderstorp-highschool in Skellefteå, where I was enrolled in the so-called “Aesthetic programme,” with the “Aesthetics and media”-orientation— essentially an artprogramme focusing on mediaproduction. My grades were insufficient for graduation and I therefore did not move on to higher education.

After my schooling I was employed by a municipal organisation named Solkraft (“Solar power”); I was at this time a member of the Municipal workers’ union. I currently co-own a small supermarket in Caleta de Fuste with my husband since mid-2025.

Politically I consider myself to be a socially progressive democratic socialist. I don’t see myself as a libertarian, but I’m disinclined towards statesocialism and have a liberal view on democratic and civil rights and statepower.

I’m currently not a member of any political organisation. While living in Sweden, I was briefly a member of the Leftparty, a mainstream ecosocialist and feminist political party.
